Mr. Jose Garcia Received his diploma from Texas State University in San Marcos Tx, where he continued to stay and become a Unit Director for the Boys and Girls Club South Central Texas helping children to reach their fullest potential in whatever they choose to do. While working alongside Mr. Garcia, I had the pleasure of meeting quite a few people who are involved in the boys and girls club full time. I learned about the individual positions and job descriptions of different employees. I learned how to make lesson plans, communicate with the children in a healthy way, as well as build a relationship with the parents of the children to brainstorm and find more effective ways to teach them to follow instructions and to be accountable for themselves as individuals in society.
